Carlo Galan
Senior Recruitment Manager
Carlo Galan is a trusted recruitment professional who brings with him over 10 years of industry experience. Prior to joining ALLIANCE, Carlo founded and operated his own boutique agency, primarily servicing the Alberta Oil and Gas sector. He was instrumental in recruiting and staffing for several Oilsands mining and construction mega projects in both the basic engineering and early works construction phases. He recruited for both field personnel and also at the corporate executive level for several major oil and energy organisations. Following this, he served as the Branch Manager of a Canadian-owned and operated staffing agency where he managed the branch business operations, health and safety, and the recruitment team, servicing key accounts in the light industrial sector.
Carlo is a native of Vancouver and is a family man with two daughters.
He graduated from Simon Fraser University with an Applied Communications degree. Carlo is dedicated and committed to excellence in customer service. He prides himself on strong ethics and honest values.
Lucky Cheema
Senior Permanent Recruiter / Business Development
Lucky Cheema is a strategic recruitment professional with extensive experience delivering talent solutions across multiple sectors and regions. She specializes in connecting organizations with the right people while designing recruitment strategies that address immediate staffing needs and long-term talent goals.
Before joining ALLIANCE Professional Recuitment, Lucky served as a Senior Recruiter and Recruitment Manager with a non-profit social enterprise. She led recruitment across all company branches, managed specialized roles, and oversaw the organization’s distance staffing division. Working closely with clients, Branch Managers, and Business Development teams, she managed end-to-end recruitment across diverse portfolios. Her responsibilities included workforce planning, sourcing and screening candidates, coordinating interviews, supporting onboarding, and overseeing recruitment operations. She also supported candidates in remote locations and coordinated staffing for large-scale events and trade shows, delivering high-volume recruitment solutions.
Lucky’s branch management experience strengthened her ability to align staffing strategies with client and operational objectives. She led hiring and onboarding initiatives for industries such as construction and warehousing. Known for a consultative approach, Lucky delivers solutions that help clients build teams successfully consistently.

Throughout his career, Hakan has successfully connected more than 500 professionals with over 80 organizations ranging from growing private companies to Fortune Global 500 firms. His expertise spans executive search, strategic talent acquisition, workforce planning, organizational development, and long-term recruitment partnerships.
Known for his relationship-driven and business-focused approach, Hakan has built extensive networks throughout Vancouver and North America, particularly within the construction, development, and legal industries. His legal recruitment practice includes supporting law firms with the recruitment of lawyers, paralegals, legal assistants, and legal support professionals across a wide range of practice areas.
In addition to recruitment leadership, Hakan is recognized for helping organizations scale through strategic hiring initiatives, operational alignment, and long-term talent planning.
Originally from Istanbul, Türkiye, Hakan has spent most of his adult life in Vancouver and proudly considers the Lower Mainland home. Outside of his professional career, he has been married for 22 years and is the proud father of a 17-year-old competitive hockey player.
